The post was established/chartered on December 17, 1964. The post has called several locations it’s home until 1990. In 1990, the post moved to its current location of 150 Camden Woods Parkway, Kingsland GA. In November of 1979 the Post sponsored and established/charted it's Ladies Auxiliary.
