


We are located in the southeast corner of the great state of Georgia in Kingsland. Our post is named after a native Camden county resident, GA Tech Sergeant James Jarrett Brown. Sergeant Brown served his country during World War II as a tail gunner for the US Army Air Corp, 358 Bombardment Squadron. Unfortunately his plane paid the ultimate sacrifice and was shot down over Germany in 1943. Sergeant Brown’s remains where laid to rest in Oak Grove Cemetery located in St. Mary’s Georgia. The post was established/chartered on December 17, 1964. The post has called several locations it’s home until 1990. In 1990, the post moved to its current location of 150 Camden Woods Parkway, Kingsland GA. In November of 1979 the Post sponsored and established/charted it's Ladies Auxiliary.
